Why Choose a 240-Gallon Enclosure?
Optimal Space for Active Reptiles
- Vertical and Horizontal Space
- Ample Climbing Opportunities: With a height of 48 inches, this enclosure is perfect for arboreal species that enjoy climbing and perching, such as chameleons, geckos, and tree-dwelling snakes.
- Expansive Floor Area: The 48×24-inch floor space offers plenty of room for terrestrial reptiles like large lizards, allowing them to roam freely and comfortably.
- Natural Behavior Encouragement
- Exploration and Enrichment: The large size encourages natural behaviors such as climbing, basking, and burrowing, keeping your reptile mentally and physically stimulated.
- Customizable Setup: The spacious design allows for a variety of decorations, including large branches, rocks, plants, and hides, creating a naturalistic and enriching environment.
Superior Environmental Control
- Temperature and Humidity Management
- Effective Zoning: The enclosure’s size allows for distinct temperature zones, providing a warm basking area and cooler retreat spaces, crucial for your reptile’s thermoregulation.
- Humidity Control: The large space helps maintain stable humidity levels, which is essential for species that require specific humidity ranges, such as tropical reptiles.
- Lighting Flexibility
- UVB Lighting: The tall height of the enclosure is ideal for setting up full-spectrum UVB lighting, which is essential for reptiles like bearded dragons and tortoises that require UVB for calcium metabolism and overall health.
- Basking and Ambient Lights: Multiple lighting fixtures can be installed to create basking spots and provide ambient light throughout the enclosure, mimicking natural sunlight.

You made a 13 year old and her blue tongue very happy! She had no problem with set up and transfer of blue tongue. She is so happy with the space and the glass nature of the enclosure because she gets to watch her all through the walls.
